
Jesik supported the Pueblo Dam Hydroelectric project with construction-phase materials testing, inspection, and documentation for the James W. Broderick Hydropower Plant at Pueblo Dam. The facility was constructed at the base of the dam to generate electricity from authorized releases to the Arkansas River and is a 7.5-MW hydropower project.
Jesik’s role included concrete testing, soils compaction support, and field documentation aligned with project requirements. The team supported concrete sampling and compressive strength testing, including 7-day and 28-day cylinder breaks, along with laboratory Proctor testing to establish compaction targets for earthwork operations.
Hydropower and dam-adjacent construction require verifiable materials performance, responsive documentation, and dependable quality control. Through construction materials testing and inspection support, Jesik helped the project team confirm concrete and earthwork met project specifications while supporting confident decision-making during construction.
